As a Senior Product Manager - CoreAI on the 1ES team, you will drive product strategy and execution for policy enforcement, compliance automation, and AI-driven engineering automation at enterprise scale. Your daily responsibilities include owning the vision for platforms that deliver organizational policy controls, event-driven governance workflows, and intelligent automation to support Microsoft’s internal engineering teams. You will work closely with various engineering teams to identify unmet needs, validate opportunities, and synthesize feedback into actionable investments while leading cross-team alignment on product roadmaps. The role requires expertise in security and compliance tooling, Azure DevOps, GitHub ecosystems, ML/AI systems, and GitOps principles, as well as strong storytelling and executive communication skills to champion policy-as-code initiatives and drive adoption of internal tools.
Own the product vision for policy controls and compliance automation at enterprise scale.
Develop event-driven platforms enabling reactive applications triggered by engineering events.
Drive AI-first approaches in engineering systems, integrating intelligent agents for various tasks.
Define and track OKRs and KPIs to ensure measurable outcomes across the product portfolio.
Lead cross-team alignment with engineering, design, and partner teams to deliver on the roadmap.
Evaluate tradeoffs between security, compliance, developer productivity, and platform scalability.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience in product management, program management, or software development.
Hands-on experience with security and compliance tooling in CI/CD environments.
Expertise in Azure DevOps and GitHub ecosystems, including webhooks and APIs.
Experience with ML/AI systems and developer platforms, familiarity with Copilot workflows.
Understanding of GitOps principles and natural-language agentic workflows.
Proven ability to drive complex cross-organizational initiatives involving multiple teams.
Demonstrated success in improving product adoption and developer satisfaction metrics.
