Senior Product Designer - AAA | Datadog Careers

What you'll do

• Lead design for features that manage access and identity for Datadog’s largest customers.
• Work closely with PMs and engineers to understand customer pain points and build UI solutions.
• Prototype high-fidelity ideas early in the development process using code.
• Present your work clearly to stakeholders, including executive leadership, to gain support.
• Explore different design patterns beyond the existing design system for optimal solutions.
• Interface with other product teams to ensure a coherent experience across overlapping features.
• Stress-test designs against various edge cases to ensure robustness and reliability.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience in digital product design
• Expertise in designing data-rich interfaces and complex technical topics
• Fluency in technical subject matter, collaborating with engineering peers
• Strong craft skills to elevate the look-and-feel of UI elements
• Experience creating component-based patterns and working with design systems
• Deep understanding of user archetypes and business needs
• Proficiency in AI-assisted workflows for research and rapid prototyping
