What you'll do

  • Lead electrical power subsystems development from concept to production.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for power conversion activities in programs.
  • Optimize selection, design and integration of high power components with mechanical engineers.
  • Create block diagrams and schematics for complex power electronic systems.
  • Manage trade-offs between component selections and size, weight, and power requirements.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in power electronics and switch-mode topologies.
  • Proven capability to design, build, and test high voltage/high power systems.
  • Expertise in DC/DC converters and inverters from tens of kW to MW range.
  • Strong knowledge of control theory and implementation for power electronics.
  • Experience with MIL-STD compliance or similar industrial standards required.
  • Secret security clearance is mandatory for this position.
