Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer, Space

What you'll do

• Develop model-driven analysis and create models for mission solutions.
• Design rigorous math and physics analyses to provide clear value propositions.
• Use advanced M&S capabilities to give analyses an asymmetric advantage over competitors.
• Lead physics-level modeling, mission design, and constellation design for space missions.
• Provide analytical products that guide hardware engineering and convince stakeholders of value.

What we're looking for

• Secret security clearance required
• Extensive space mission MS&A experience, including constellation and trajectory design
• Proficiency in physics-based trade-space analyses for spacecraft systems
• Strong background in orbital mechanics and the space environment
• Expertise in physics-math scripting languages (MATLAB, Python+numpy, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills for complex data presentation
