- Establish and enforce engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and IaC.
- Manage vendor relationships and assess new tools to enhance the efficiency of data platforms.
- Lead a team of platform engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with CCoE, InfoSec, IAM, and Network teams to ensure adherence to best practices.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in cloud data platform engineering.
- Expertise in Azure services including Databricks, Kubernetes, Kafka, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, lakes, engineering, science, analytics, and real-time streaming.
- Experience with distributed cloud platform governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software delivery lifecycle processes.
- Skills in managing cloud costs, monitoring, and optimization strategies.
