What you'll do

  • Develop custom silicon sourcing strategies in collaboration with Azure hardware teams.
  • Maintain high-level relationships with semiconductor ecosystem suppliers to ensure supply continuity.
  • Negotiate costs and manage procurement of manufacturing test hardware for custom silicon programs.
  • Ensure supplier selection and component qualification meet engineering and business requirements.
  • Drive consistency in forecasting processes to align with industry standards and needs.

What we're looking for

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years experience in data science/analytics, supply chain, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 4+ years experience in finance, project management, operations, etc.
  • Experience working with semiconductor suppliers in Foundry, OSAT, Substrate, and Test.
  • Direct experience in technical sourcing for custom silicon development.
  • Understanding of custom silicon design, process, physical signaling, and packaging technologies.
  • Expertise in market analysis to determine market size, supply to demand sufficiency, investments, trends impacting strategy.
