What you'll do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Define performance metrics and champion the professional development of all team members.
  • Oversee the modernization of high-volume transaction processing applications to cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Spearhead the migration of HPE NonStop switching systems to a low-latency microservices architecture.
  • Maintain technical engagement by setting engineering standards and providing design critiques.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Cyber Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams for secure payment experiences.

What we're looking for

  • At least 4 years of experience with infrastructure platforms.
  • 3+ years leading or supporting mission-critical payment platforms on HPE NonStop systems.
  • 2+ years migrating large-scale workloads from HPE NonStop to AWS using IaC tools.
  • 3+ years designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of high-throughput distributed systems, microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with payment messaging standards (ISO 8583, ISO 20022).
  • Experience in Payments Processing or Financial Technology environments.
