Position Summary Samsung Wallet – Senior Manager, Business Development – Samsung Wallet Perks & Engagement Samsung Wallet is a mobile payment service and digital wallet developed by Samsung. It is designed to be a one-stop shop for all debit cards, credit cards, digital passes, and tickets, making them easy to access and use when necessary. With the rise of NFC payment terminals in stores and evolving consumer preferences over the past year, Samsung Wallet has never been more important. We are looking for a senior manager of Business Partnership with Product Management responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of the Perks & Rewards experience within the Samsung Wallet. This role will lead the development of high-value offers, user engaging features, and partnerships that increase customer engagement, retention, and monetization of the Samsung Wallet. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, data-driven, and solutions-focused with the ability to unravel complexity, navigate the organization, and come to a quick understanding of the business. The position will require excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to drive close collaboration with all areas of the business. The Senior Manager of Business Partnership with Product Management must be a self-starter and will need be comfortable working under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment. Role and Responsibilities Responsibilities Define and drive the Perks & Rewards strategy for Samsung Wallet, including cash-back offers, merchant promotions, and incentive frameworks Develop product roadmaps based on customer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis Work closely with UX/UI designers to craft intuitive experiences that encourage discovery and engagement with Perks Partner with engineering teams to deliver features on schedule while ensuring quality and performance Establish and manage merchant partnerships and integrations for offers and promotions Coordinate go-to-market plans with marketing, analytics, legal, and business development Measure feature performance (engagement, conversion to purchase, retention) and iterate to optimize business outcomes Present product updates and insights to executive leadership Required Qualifications BA/BS required, in Business, Computer Science, or related field At least five years of experience in mobile apps, fintech, or digital wallets Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills Strong analytical skills—comfortable with metrics that influence product decisions Experience defining and optimizing user engagement features and loyalty/reward systems Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills Proficiency in Korean language is desirable, but not mandatory Preferred Qualifications Experience working with payment platforms, digital wallets, or consumer financial technology Prior work in consumer promotions, loyalty, and merchant ecosystem development Familiarity with Samsung ecosystem products and mobile OS design paradigms Skills and Qualifications Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York, NY, is expected to be between $180,000 ~ $215,000 base. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
