As a Senior Linux Systems Engineer at Anduril’s Connected Warfare department, you will join the Edge Compute and Communications team to build and maintain critical tactical infrastructure for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) products. Your daily responsibilities include serving as an expert in server and system ecosystems, designing and maintaining IT systems across various operating systems with a focus on Linux, and supporting classified programs. You’ll work closely with cybersecurity professionals to implement configuration management and adhere to complex regulatory frameworks while driving automation through scripting in Bash and PowerShell. The role requires experience with RHEL Image Builder, Active Directory, and cloud-based resources in both IaaS and PaaS environments, as well as a current or obtainable Top Secret clearance.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of IT infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Advanced scripting skills with Bash and PowerShell for automation.
  • Strong knowledge of clustered server infrastructure and Active Directory.
  • Experience deploying IT systems in air-gapped and tactical environments.
  • Professional experience with RHEL Image Builder and cloud-based resources.
  • Currently holds or can obtain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to work independently and navigate complex cybersecurity regulations.
