Senior Linux Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Implement security policies and improvements across Cisco IT infrastructure.
• Validate AI infrastructure security through patching, vulnerability scanning, and open-source management.
• Serve as a key point of contact for security issues and incident response activities.
• Modernize Linux OS build systems using advanced automation and secure configurations.
• Embed security practices into all aspects of engineering including code development and integrated security scanning.
• Define strategy and maintain the roadmap for adopting and integrating security monitoring platforms.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of Linux security experience including Sudoers and SELinux.
• Extensive experience in large-scale IT infrastructure with compute systems.
• Proficiency in developing hardened Linux OS images through CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise with security scanning tools for SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets detection.
• Experience using DevOps IaC tooling such as Ansible, GitHub, Python, Docker.
