As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at GDIT’s Advana team, you will design and maintain secure infrastructure environments for the Department of Defense and other critical government entities. Your daily tasks include building and provisioning Development, Test, Integration, Staging, and Production environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) tools to ensure consistency and security across all enclaves. You will develop IaC modules for pipelines and mission-critical application stacks while applying STIG baselines and DevSecOps requirements to maintain operational integrity. Additionally, you will construct DevSecOps pipelines with monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, and SIEM platforms, supporting incident response and capacity planning activities. This role requires expertise in complex systems modeling, national security, and systems architecture, as well as proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible, CI/CD pipeline management, and cloud infrastructure services such as AWS or Azure.
