Wells Fargo Bank N.A. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their West Des Moines team, focusing on building and maintaining robust DevOps practices for application development and deployment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Jenkins, secure DevOps practices, cloud environments like Google Cloud or Azure, and container technologies such as Kubernetes. Additionally, proficiency in tools like Maven, Gradle, Node.js, and Python scripting is essential to drive high-quality project delivery and mentor junior team members effectively.
Analyze complex application build, release, and deployment requirements to design automation solutions.
Provide consultation and training on Enterprise Pipeline (EPL) for self-service potential among teams.
Develop proof-of-concepts to demonstrate new technologies in support of innovation initiatives.
Create enterprise standards for Jenkins and uDeploy onboarding processes for applications.
Offer ongoing operational support for application updates, troubleshooting, and configuration needs.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus four years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering.
Four years of Jenkins experience and three years each with secure DevOps, deployment automation to cloud environments, and build type tools like Maven, Gradle, or Node.js.
One year of support experience on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Google Cloud, or Azure Cloud, along with container experience.
Experience with Urban Code Deploy, Kubernetes, Python, shell scripting, and Angular.
Ability to develop proof-of-concepts for new technologies and provide high-quality delivery in project management.
