You should have extensive experience with flight mechanics, control theory, and simulation tools like MATLAB and Simulink, as well as practical knowledge of Explicit Model Following, Dynamic Inversion, and Adaptive Control techniques. This role demands proficiency in C/C++ programming and the ability to generate code from Simulink models, along with a current U.S. Top Secret clearance.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement GNC architectures for advanced tactical missile systems.
  • Assess the performance of GNC systems using sensors, actuators, and algorithms.
  • Develop cutting-edge GNC designs for high-speed flight systems and re-entry vehicles.
  • Write code in C/C++ to generate control software from Simulink models.
  • Apply Explicit Model Following, Dynamic Inversion, and Adaptive Control techniques.
  • Collaborate with test engineers to ensure system-wide integration and performance.

What we're looking for

  • 8 or more years of experience in Guidance, Navigation & Control engineering
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of flight mechanics and control theory
  • Proficiency with GNC simulation tools like MATLAB and Simulink
  • Practical experience developing GNC designs for high-speed systems
  • Experience with Explicit Model Following and Adaptive Control techniques
  • Ability to generate C or C++ code from Simulink models
  • Current Active U.S. Top Secret clearance required
