Senior Field Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on CRH training devices, including WSTs and AVDTTs.
• Lead fault isolation and root cause analysis for simulator subsystems to ensure high reliability.
• Support installation and verification of software updates and hardware modifications in training systems.
• Document maintenance actions accurately using AFTO Form 781 series and other required documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and on-the-job training to junior field engineers and technicians.

What we're looking for

• 5-8 years of experience in simulator maintenance, avionics, IT systems, or related technical field.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification required at time of hire.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, electronic, and computer-based systems.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments, system administration, and basic networking.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical orders.
• Familiarity with maintenance documentation systems and data tracking (e.g., AFTO forms).
• Experience using test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers.
