As a Senior Engineering Program Manager at Apple Cloud Services Infrastructure, you will lead large-scale programs that span across various cloud infrastructure products including Compute, Storage, Observability, Traffic, Data Platform, Data Services, and Developer Experience. Your role involves partnering with engineering leads to develop actionable roadmaps and ensuring alignment across complex technical dependencies. You will identify risks early on, facilitate problem-solving, and establish program frameworks to provide visibility into cross-team dependencies for leadership decision-making. The ideal candidate has over eight years of experience in technical program management within infrastructure or platform development, a deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, and the ability to drive operational rigor throughout the program lifecycle. Familiarity with Kubernetes, workflow systems, and distributed data platforms is preferred, as well as proven success in building developer platforms and influencing senior engineering leaders.
Drive cross-functional programs spanning cloud infrastructure products within Compute, Storage, Observability, Traffic, Data Platform, Data Services, and Developer Experience.
Translate platform strategy into actionable roadmaps with clear milestones, owners, and success criteria in partnership with engineering leads.
Identify technical and organizational risks early to facilitate alignment and unblock teams through proactive problem-solving.
Establish program frameworks that bring visibility to cross-team dependencies, progress, and tradeoffs for leadership decision-making.
Drive operational rigor across the program lifecycle from requirements gathering through launch readiness and post-launch iteration.
What we're looking for
8+ years of technical program management in infrastructure or platform development
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Proven ability to drive complex multi-team technical programs from ambiguity to delivery
Strong track record of influencing senior engineering leaders and building consensus across organizations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes), workflow systems, or distributed data platforms
