Cardinal Health’s Enterprise Master Data Management team is seeking a Senior Engineer with expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) to lead the design and implementation of master data solutions for large-scale projects. This role involves providing subject matter expertise by planning end-to-end design workshops, leading problem-solving sessions, and guiding teams through integration and testing processes. The Sr Engineer will collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects and Product Owners to develop technical architecture patterns and ensure compliance with standard tools like Solution Manager and JIRA. Essential skills include extensive experience in SAP MDG implementations for Customer, Vendor, and Material domains, as well as proficiency in integrating SAP MDG with ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of third-party interfaces, data conversion processes, and BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus) configurations, along with expertise in functional integration and process design.
Lead end-to-end design workshops for SAP Master Data Management initiatives.
Identify and bridge gaps between business requirements and current solutions.
Drive implementation teams to define and integrate SAP Master Data solutions.
Provide architecture recommendations and analyze options for SAP MDG changes.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to create detailed technical patterns.
What we're looking for
Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP MDG implementation for large-scale projects.
Expertise in integrating SAP MDG with ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems.
Strong understanding of third-party interfaces and data conversion processes.
Proven ability to align business process requirements with SAP Master Data Governance.
Expert-level SAP functional configuration experience in Material, Customer, and Supplier master data.
Significant experience with BRF+, including rule-based workflow services and user exits.
