As a Senior DSP Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary team to guide and mentor junior engineers in the development of signal processing and machine learning algorithms for deployment on FPGAs and GPUs. Your daily tasks include collaborating with software and hardware teams to implement DSP techniques into firmware and conducting modeling and simulation (M&S) for RADAR systems, including Hardware-in-the-Loop/Software-in-the-Loop testing. You will also participate in laboratory and field tests of RF systems and contribute to the maturation of these systems into deployable products. The role requires expertise in Python, MATLAB, CUDA, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and familiarity with wireless communication standards. Ideal candidates have a background in defense or aerospace, extensive knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and experience with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Inverse SAR (ISAR).

What you'll do

  • Guide DSP engineers in executing trade studies and optimizing algorithms for FPGAs and GPUs.
  • Design and implement RADAR system algorithms and techniques.
  • Develop M&S code for RADAR techniques, including HIL/SIL testing.
  • Participate in laboratory and field testing of RF systems and techniques.
  • Direct DSP team engagement with software and hardware teams during implementation.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in DSP and related fields with a BSEE or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Python, MATLAB, CUDA, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Experience with embedded devices like FPGA, Nvidia Jetson, and Software Defined Radios.
  • Skilled in Modeling and Simulation of RF systems including Radar and SAR techniques.
  • Familiarity with wireless communication standards and Electronic Warfare systems.
