As a senior DevOps Engineer on the Cat Digital and Cat Technology DevOps Tools Team, you will support development teams by providing administration and subject matter expertise for DevOps tools, including procurement, installation, and configuration. Your daily tasks will involve collaborating with multiple development teams to recommend best practices, optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and manage cloud infrastructure deployments via AWS CloudFormation. You will also work closely with the DevOps Engineering community to set standards and implement initiatives across Cat Digital teams while ensuring compliance with security guidelines. This role requires extensive experience with AWS services such as IAM, S3, Lambda, SageMaker, API Gateway, RDS, and familiarity with deploying and configuring OSMO, NVIDIA, and RUN.AI.

What you'll do

Provide recommendations on DevOps best practices and Cat Digital standards.
Create, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for development teams.
Develop cloud infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
Set and implement DevOps standards across multiple engineering communities.
Troubleshoot cloud service issues including IAM, networking, and configurations.
Communicate technical issues, recommendations, and solutions to various stakeholders.

What we're looking for

At least 8 years of software development experience.
Proficiency with AWS cloud services including IAM, S3, Lambda, SageMaker, API Gateway, and RDS.
Expertise in CI/CD principles and best practices, managing pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Experience deploying AWS infrastructure via CloudFormation and managing OSMO, NVIDIA, RUN.AI configurations.
AWS Cloud Practitioner certification required.
