As a Senior Associate Product Manager in Capital One’s Platform team, you will lead the strategic development and execution of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes for our cloud-native bank. Your primary responsibility is to create a seamless software delivery lifecycle that balances developer autonomy with stringent security and compliance standards. You will own the CI/CD roadmap, driving automation and testing frameworks to enhance efficiency while conducting user research to optimize the developer experience. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure audit requirements are met seamlessly, enabling developers to focus on feature development. Key skills include technical curiosity, a keen eye for quality assurance, and proficiency in managing complex product backlogs. Own and maintain a data-driven roadmap for CI/CD ecosystem enhancements.
Conduct user research to identify and resolve friction points in the delivery pipeline.
Ensure audit requirements are met automatically through collaboration with Risk and Compliance teams.
Define and track key metrics for operational excellence, including DORA metrics.
Serve as a bridge between Infrastructure/SRE teams and Product, communicating technical trade-offs effectively.
Identify potential single points of failure using data analysis and advocate for architectural improvements.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in product management with a focus on CI/CD tools and processes.
Proven track record of defining and executing data-driven roadmaps for software delivery platforms.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders.
Deep understanding of DORA metrics and operational excellence in cloud-native environments.
Ability to manage complex technical projects, including backlog management and acceptance criteria writing.
Passionate about quality assurance and ensuring features are stable and scalable before release.
Technical curiosity and expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
