What you'll do

• Design and build machine learning models for product discovery, ranking, recommendation, and personalization.
• Develop conversational shopping systems using large language models and prompt engineering techniques.
• Address quality and trust issues in generative AI systems to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Define evaluation frameworks and conduct experiments for conversational and proactive shopping scenarios.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring team members and setting quality standards for applied science projects.
• Contribute to model governance and Responsible AI practices to maintain system compliance and trustworthiness.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of hands-on ML or statistical modeling experience.
• Proficiency in Python/R for data analysis and SQL for querying.
• Experience with large-scale data processing tools like Apache Spark.
• Skills in time-series analysis and anomaly detection techniques.
• Practical experience with prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning.
