As a Senior Android Engineer at Clover, you will join the Point of Sale team responsible for developing applications that enhance the user experience on Clover POS devices, supporting over 700k merchants globally. Your daily tasks include designing and refining requirements with product managers and UX designers, conducting code reviews, fixing bugs, and participating in agile planning sessions. You will also develop APIs to extend our Android SDK for third-party developers and contribute to test automation efforts. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, 7+ years of professional Android development experience, expertise in Java and Kotlin, and knowledge of database concepts and SQL. Familiarity with server-side development, REST endpoints, and tools like Grafana and DataDog is beneficial, as well as prior experience in the Point of Sale domain.
Define and refine requirements with Product Managers and UX designers.
