We are seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to join our team at NVIDIA, where you will lead the development of innovative multi-modal agentic AI solutions that enhance software design, code generation, testing, and other critical components of the SDLC. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for applying advanced AI technologies, designing and optimizing agentic AI systems to improve performance and productivity, and developing benchmarks to assess their effectiveness across various use cases. Ideal candidates have a strong background in AI system development, including experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, proficiency in Python and systems languages such as Go or C++, and expertise in building and fine-tuning foundation models for agentic AI applications.

What you'll do

Lead the design and development of agentic AI solutions to enhance software productivity and quality.

Optimize agentic AI systems for better performance, efficiency, and reliability.
Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate agentic AI into NVIDIA’s software stack.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; MS or PhD preferred.
3+ years of industry experience developing AI systems, including foundational models and reinforcement learning.
Proficiency in Python and at least one systems language like Go, Rust, or C++.
Experience with agentic AI systems that interact with external tools and APIs.
Expertise in building, training, and fine-tuning foundation models.
Knowledge of safety measures and policy enforcement for autonomous systems.
Experience designing and analyzing benchmarks for AI model evaluation.
