This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership to plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute program activities, ensuring adherence to budget baselines using Earned Value Management (EVM) and managing risks and opportunities effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, ideally within software development, and possess excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Essential qualifications include a STEM degree with relevant experience, active Secret clearance, and proven leadership in technical, financial, and risk management.
Manage program budget baselines using Earned Value Management (EVM) tools.
Ensure program team adheres to contract scope and manages changes through disciplined processes.
Conduct thorough risk and opportunity oversight for proactive issue resolution.
Cultivate customer relationships to support program execution and growth opportunities.
Coordinate program deliverables, invoice reviews, and data required for regular reviews.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 8 years’ experience supporting US Government contracts; or Master’s degree and 6 years’ relevant experience.
Minimum 5+ years of program management experience with programs valued at $5M annually, meeting cost, schedule, and technical goals.
Proven analytical skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities in a cross-functional team environment.
Experience managing development efforts, ideally in software development, using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage customers and senior management effectively.
