What you'll do

• Design and build self-serve ETL/ELT frameworks for batch and streaming workloads.
• Set technical standards and evaluate build-vs-buy decisions for data platform tools.
• Ensure compliance with fintech regulatory requirements through data governance practices.
• Monitor, debug, and resolve incidents across the entire data platform infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience building, shipping, and operating large-scale data infrastructure in production.
• Strong system design skills with proven ability to write design documents and deliver results.
• Deep proficiency in Python or Java/Kotlin, emphasizing testing, code quality, and maintainability.
• Production experience with modern data stack technologies including cloud warehouses, workflow orchestration tools, and IaC.
• Experience building observability features for data systems such as freshness monitoring and SLA dashboards.
• Knowledge of fintech regulatory requirements and ability to enforce data governance and access controls.
