What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain product features for NetMaster and SOLVE in z/OS environments.
Develop and consume SMF and zERT record data to enable network monitoring capabilities.
Lead design and code reviews, providing technical feedback to peers.
Serve as a technical lead and escalation point for complex production issues.
Coach and mentor junior engineers, supporting onboarding and knowledge transfer.

What we're looking for

8+ years of hands-on software development experience in IBM z/OS mainframe environment
Mastery of REXX scripting and ability to parse and analyze SMF records
Experience with mainframe debugging tools (XDC, IPCS, SYSLOG analysis, dumps)
Familiarity with network security protocols and their use in mainframe environments
Track record working on complex, large-scale production software impacting real customers
Ability to work independently and set priorities within a general direction from management
Lead design decisions, mentor junior engineers, and serve as an escalation point for issues
