What you'll do
Create and implement scalable RESTful APIs for seamless integration of frontend systems with backend mainframe systems.
Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Actively participate in Agile activities such as iteration planning, refinement, and sprint reviews.
Interact with customers for support issues, demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
What we're looking for
5+ years of professional Java development experience focusing on RESTful API design and Spring/Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of SQL databases, API security best practices, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools for automation.
Knowledge of frontend technologies like React or Angular and their interaction with backend services.
Experience with mainframe technical skills including z/OS, Unix/USS, SMP/E, and z/OSMF.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex technical challenges.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities to convey technical concepts effectively.
