What you'll do

  • Fabricate and assemble high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies for optical systems.
  • Develop and implement integration and test fixtures using existing test equipment.
  • Manage internal prototyping resources, including mechanical and electrical fabrication tools.
  • Troubleshoot and assemble cables and wiring harnesses for various platforms.
  • Travel to external laboratories and test sites to support testing initiatives.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 4 years experience in complex electro-mechanical assembly
  • Proven ability to work independently on R&D tasks with minimal supervision
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and assembling cables, wiring harnesses, and connectors
  • Basic electrical knowledge including Ohm's Law and voltage drop calculations
  • Ownership of the rapid prototyping process from start to finish
  • Secret security clearance required
