Familiarity with maritime systems production and ASQ certifications is preferred.

What you'll do

Develop and implement a Quality Management System compliant with AS9100 and NavSea standards.
Monitor manufacturing processes using statistical methods to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
Interpret and apply NavSea technical publications into practical manufacturing procedures.
Lead the disposition of non-conforming products and drive Root Cause Corrective Action processes.
Qualify, audit, and manage suppliers for critical components and special processes to ensure compliance.
Plan and execute internal audits to maintain system-wide quality and identify improvement areas.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering for aerospace, defense, or regulated industries.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field.
Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining AS9100 certified QMS.
Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies (8D, 5 Whys) and corrective actions.
Experience leading First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 standards.
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) for complex engineering drawings.
Active Secret security clearance.
