What you'll do

  • Lead and manage a team of Software Quality Engineers supporting mission-critical programs.
  • Translate program requirements into SQE priorities and deliverables, aligning with schedules and budgets.
  • Define and implement processes for verifying software compliance, reliability, and safety on assigned programs.
  • Provide technical oversight and approval for software verification strategies and quality artifacts.
  • Coordinate supplier SQE activities and assess supplier deliverables for quality and conformance.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development programs, including verification and testing.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with AS9115 or DO-178 requirements in software quality engineering.
  • Proven leadership experience managing a team of Software Quality Engineers or similar role.
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience working closely with program leadership to prioritize and resolve technical quality issues.
  • Familiarity with safety-critical development standards such as DO-178B/C.
  • Active U.S. security clearance required for the role.
