Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain a Quality Management System compliant with AS9100 and NavSea standards.
• Implement statistical process controls, conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to improve manufacturing quality.
• Qualify and audit suppliers of critical components and special processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead Material Review Board and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes using methodologies like 8D and 5 Whys.
• Develop comprehensive inspection plans and criteria for receiving, in-process, and final inspections according to AS9102 standards.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering for aerospace, defense, or regulated industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field.
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining AS9100 certified QMS.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies (8D, 5 Whys) and corrective actions.
• Experience leading First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 standards.
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Secret security clearance required.
