As a Python Application Developer at the intermediate level within the Technology team’s Applications Development group, you will architect and implement cloud-native applications using distributed systems principles. Your daily tasks include writing clean Python code, deploying and orchestrating applications with Docker and Kubernetes, integrating various DBMS for data persistence, and optionally developing real-time data processing pipelines. You will also monitor development phases, provide user support, and recommend security measures post-implementation. This role requires 5+ years of experience in systems analysis and backend development, proficiency in Python, understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture, and knowledge of DBMS and containerization technologies. Experience with real-time data streaming is a plus.
