Product Owner (Hybrid OR Remote- Raleigh or Jersey City)

What you'll do

• Manage and prioritize product backlog to align with business objectives.
• Define clear acceptance criteria for user stories to ensure quality delivery.
• Facilitate sprint planning and communicate vision to development teams.
• Track key product metrics to measure success and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain alignment between product strategy and delivery.
• Break down complex requirements into manageable user stories for the team.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in large-scale commercial systems development using Agile/Scrum/SAFe frameworks.
• Strong ability to manage complex product backlogs and prioritize user stories aligned with business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills for influencing stakeholders, presenting technical information, and facilitating team collaboration.
• Deep understanding of the insurance product lifecycle and experience working across multiple IT development teams.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner or SAFe® POPM certification preferred; proficiency in Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence required.
• Demonstrated skill in translating business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for technical execution.
• Ability to lead, partner with, and guide Agile teams while resolving conflicts and driving progress against key deliverables.
