Northrop Grumman's Chief Information and Digital Office (CIDO) organization is searching for a Project Lead/Software Development Analyst (Level 3 or 4). As a Project Lead/Software Development Analyst, you will be working with internal and external business partners, project managers, and developers as well as system, network, and application admins to support software applications used to operate Northrop Grumman's Security Operations and customers all over the United States.

This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA, but open to a hybrid schedule. This is not a remote position.

The Project Lead/Software Development Analyst develops, installs, maintains, and administers security system software and databases that include physical access control, alarm systems, video management systems, as well as other miscellaneous security information systems. Performs process flow and requirements documentation, use case creation, software testing, user account set-up, release notes, user guide documentation, and report creation. Understands database schemas, entity relationship diagrams, automated job scheduling and data interfaces.

Individual in this role will be expected to serve as a Project Lead for Application Engineers in Security Operations Systems.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant professional experience OR Master's degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience OR Associate's degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience OR High School Diploma and 9 years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing small to medium size projects and leading a team
  • Experience installing / configuring software on Windows servers
  • Strong communication skills, customer service and writing skills
  • Ability to gather and translate the Security organizations requirements into technical and functional solutions for use by cross-sector Security organizations
  • Pay strict attention to detail, grasp new technologies quickly, prioritize requests, and look for opportunities to improve processes
  • Comfortable working with both end-users and suppliers and be willing to attend trainings in order to become certified as systems subject-matter-expert.
  • Understanding of MS suite (Edge, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, a DoD Top Secret/SAP/SCI clearance to include Polygraph as a condition of continued employment

Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
