What you'll do

• Own the long-range architecture for MMS platform components including auction engines and bidder adapter framework.
• Drive technical strategy across Microsoft Advertising teams for bidders, supply integrations, brand safety, identity, measurement, and billing.
• Design and build highly scalable Go services on MMS with strict latency and availability SLAs.
• Improve observability of the request path by implementing structured logging and metrics.
• Lead Azure-native deployment initiatives to reduce cost-per-request and improve failover behavior.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years experience building latency-sensitive backend services with strict SLAs.
• Deep production experience in Go, including profiling, GC tuning, concurrency patterns.
• Hands-on experience with OpenRTB, programmatic advertising, header bidding, real-time bidding.
• Experience designing or scaling auction systems, pricing logic, bidder filtration at scale.
• Production experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Azure services, multi-region deployments.
• Solid grasp of distributed systems, consistency trade-offs, fault tolerance patterns.
• Proven record in mentoring senior engineers and driving cross-team technical initiatives.
