This role requires expertise in SolidWorks 3D modeling software, PLM systems, and Agile product lifecycle management, along with a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.

What you'll do

Troubleshoot technical problems and execute resolution plans.
Create and maintain product documentation, including Bills of Materials and FMEA’s.
Manage supplier relationships and participate in Design for Manufacturing processes.
Develop and perform engineering tests using inspection tools like CMMs and dial indicators.
Mentor junior engineers and guide them on project tasks and roles.
Work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Marketing teams.

What we're looking for

Minimum 7 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience or advanced degree with 5+ years.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
Experience in Lean Six Sigma, Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM).
Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling software and PLM systems.
Knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements such as FDA QSR, ISO standards.
Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations teams.
Experience in mechanical design engineering including drafting standards and GD&T.
