About the Role:
As the Technical Program Manager (TPM) within our pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing treatments for rare diseases, you will serve as a strategic bridge between our IT teams and Commercial business stakeholders. In this dynamic role, you'll orchestrate the development and delivery of data programs, projects, and products that directly impact our ability to reach patients with few treatment options.
You will lead cross-functional technology initiatives while providing IT product ownership, project management, and agile leadership across multiple teams. This role operates as a recognized subject matter expert, combining technical program/project management with strategic planning, product vision, and agile methodologies to maximize the value of our Enterprise Data Solutions (EDS) products and deliver complex technology solutions.
The TPM owns program outcomes end-to-end, influences product strategy and roadmap development, and leads multiple concurrent initiatives with moderate complexity and risk.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
- Leads technical initiatives within Neurocrine’s EDS function, driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic technology objectives and business outcomes
- Partners with Business and IT stakeholders to define EDS product strategy, develop roadmaps, and own successful delivery
- Drive clear definition of data platform and product features in the IT backlog that support distributed Data Products, Product Owners and Project Managers (POs & PMs)
- Identify and communicate product feature dependencies across developers and stakeholders
- Coordinate and respond to needs for fast-moving clarifications and changes across Developers, External Vendors and distributed POs & PMs
- Facilitate agile ceremonies for the IT EDS teams - including backlog grooming, sprint planning, kickoff and product showcases
- Collect and review customer feedback, and collaboratively improve delivery teams, processes and data products
- Coordinate updates in Atlassian product suite: Jira Product Discovery, Jira, Confluence
- Coordinate updates in the IT Project Portfolio within Service-Now
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in computer science or IT and 6+ years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical environment or Master's degree in computer science or IT preferred and 4+ years of relevant experience as noted above or a combination of relevant experience and education.
- Demonstrated experience in technical program management, product ownership and agile delivery methodologies
- Proven ability to lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and dependencies Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with experience driving alignment across diverse stakeholders Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms, analytics, or engineering teams
- Proficiency with relevant tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow) to support program execution and visibility
- Experience in commercial pharma domain – (e.g. Field Reporting, Incentive Compensation, etc.)
- Background in IT development or data engineering environments
- Product Owner Certification
- ScrumMaster Certification

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $132,700.00-$182,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
