Principal Infrastructure Engineer, Nutanix platform

What you'll do

• Lead the design and continuous evolution of enterprise IT infrastructure to align with business objectives.
• Define and enforce standards, policies, and architecture frameworks for compute, networking, storage, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps, capacity plans, and investment strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
• Oversee system performance validation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives across hybrid environments.
• Mentor and develop IT talent through technical leadership, training, and coaching.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure architecture or engineering
• Deep technical knowledge of operating systems, networking, storage, databases, and cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of security principles, disaster recovery, and IT architecture frameworks
• Proven ability to design enterprise systems and manage competing priorities in high-pressure environments
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management across organizational levels
• Experience with Nutanix installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and large-scale infrastructure environments
