Principal Engineer, Medical Imaging Reconstruction and Raw-to-Insights AI

What you'll do

• Define technical and architectural strategy for medical image reconstruction across modalities.
• Design GPU-accelerated, real-time reconstruction pipelines spanning edge devices and cloud.
• Advance AI-based techniques for denoising, motion correction, and uncertainty quantification.
• Drive raw-data access, interoperability, and standardization for cross-vendor ecosystems.
• Partner with ultrasound team to ensure comprehensive coverage of the acquisition layer.
• Serve as a company-level technical authority, influencing product strategy and mentoring.

What we're looking for

• PhD in biomedical/electrical engineering, computer science, medical physics, or related field with 12+ years experience.
• Expertise in reconstructing medical images and understanding image formation physics at the raw-signal level.
• Proficient in GPU-accelerated computing and infrastructure for deploying reconstruction at scale (C++, Python, CUDA).
• Track record of building platforms/frameworks that leverage an ecosystem beyond immediate team.
• Fluency with modern deep-learning methods for inverse problems and validation for clinical trustworthiness.
• Ability to operate as a cross-organization technical leader setting direction and shaping strategy.
