What you'll do

Design and maintain scalable, secure edge platforms for global restaurant technology.
Implement fault-tolerant strategies for failover and disaster recovery at the edge.
Manage virtualization and containerized environments for efficient edge deployments.
Develop CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code templates for edge workloads.
Evaluate emerging edge technologies and conduct proof-of-concept studies.
Optimize edge platform performance, reliability, and security continuously.
Integrate Edge platform tools with GCP for hybrid workload management.

What we're looking for

6+ years of platform engineering experience with a focus on edge computing or on-prem cloud.
Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration for edge or cloud environments.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, Rust, and PowerShell.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and automation frameworks.
Solid understanding of networking protocols, security best practices, and system performance tuning.
Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and hybrid edge-cloud architectures.
