As a Product Applications Engineer at Broadcom, you will join the Ethernet PHY/Switch Products team as a senior-level professional to support Tier 1 customers in designing products with Broadcom's phys and switches. What you'll do
Support architecture and low-level hardware questions from customers.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales support through various communication channels.
Analyze customer requirements and architectures to ensure product fit.

Review schematic designs and layouts for compliance with standards.

What we're looking for
Minimum 8+ years of experience in relevant fields with a strong track record.
Strong working knowledge of multi-gig copper PHY, MII, and SerDes.
Experience with Ethernet systems and standards; familiarity with PCIe interface devices preferred.
Practical programming skills in C, C++, Python, and Visual Basic for modifying or creating simple functions/scripts.
Ability to debug complex hardware/software issues and provide training to customers and FAEs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
