Join our Hardware Layout team as a Senior PCB Design Layout Engineer where you will collaborate closely with product design engineers to create high-speed, high-density value-conscious PCBs for various NVIDIA business units including Information Network, GPU Desktop, Notebook, Automotive, Professional, Data Center, Deep Learning, and AI. Your daily tasks include managing detailed component placement, constraints, and topology concepts while ensuring compliance with SI constraints, EMI/RFI control, FCC, UL, European regulations, and IPC specifications. You will generate CAD layout artwork files, ODB++, test reports, and electronic PCB documentation for design releases. Ideal candidates have a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field, 6+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with Cadence Allegro or Mentor Graphics, and strong problem-solving skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Perform PCB layout for high-speed/high-density boards across various NVIDIA business units.
Develop CAD layouts from component placement to constraints management, ensuring topology and integrity.
Generate artwork files, ODB++, test reports, and electronic documentation for design releases.
Ensure designs comply with SI constraints, EMI/RFI control, and regulatory standards like FCC and IPC.
Troubleshoot complex PCB layout issues and adapt to evolving project priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What we're looking for
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
6+ years of relevant practical experience in PCB design.
Proven leadership with successful team and project management experience.
Proficiency in PCB design tools like Cadence Allegro and Mentor Graphics.
Strong understanding of high-speed digital design principles and signal integrity.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
Adaptable problem-solving skills for complex design issues in a fast-paced environment.
