What you'll do

Deploy, upgrade, and maintain a global networking service for government customers.
Design and implement tooling to expand and monitor the Starshield service provider network.
Measure and improve uptime and performance of the terrestrial network infrastructure.
Innovate scaling methods through automation and operational improvements in the ground network.
Act as technical product owner for infrastructure tools used in access, backbone, and edge networks.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related field; or 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Experience with networking protocols and Linux operating system.
Automation expertise using Python, Shell, Bash, Puppet, Ansible, or similar frameworks.
Understanding of carrier and service provider networks and hands-on network infrastructure setup.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams and customer interactions.
