Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, SIMULINK, and Python libraries like numpy and scipy is essential, alongside experience with flight dynamics and control, sub-system modeling, and flight test data processing. This role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure accurate simulation requirements and efficient modeling solutions for Anduril’s Barracuda, Roadrunner, and other classified missile systems.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain high-fidelity virtual representations of aerospace vehicles.
  • Create simulation solutions for Guidance, Navigation, and Control algorithm development.
  • Coordinate deployment and maintenance of vehicle models for various programs.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams to model sub-system and system dynamics.
  • Own the end-to-end configuration of SITL, HITL, and PITL for test vehicles.
  • Analyze flight test data and correlate simulation results for accurate modeling.

What we're looking for

  • Experience with aerospace/aeronautical systems, including rotorcraft/VTOL and subsea vehicles.
  • Proficiency in flight dynamics/platform physics and control.
  • Advanced proficiency with C/C++ and scientific computing systems (MATLAB, SIMULINK).
  • Flight test data processing/simulation correlation experience.
  • Experience developing subsystem and system level models for various complex systems.
  • Model development to support Guidance, Navigation and Control algorithm development.
  • TS clearance required.
