What you'll do

  • Build and operate a new Gov Customer Resiliency function from scratch for high-profile Government customers.
  • Own the full resiliency lifecycle including proactive detection, incident coordination, and post-incident analysis.
  • Define and report success metrics for mean time to detect incidents and customer confidence levels.
  • Drive support readiness and operational maturity across Microsoft's Sovereign Cloud portfolio in multiple regions.
  • Design compliance-aligned operational processes and escalation pathways for new Sovereign cloud launches.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience in technical roles or equivalent.
  • US citizenship required due to legal restrictions for the position.
  • Experience in cloud reliability engineering or operational reliability roles within hyperscaler environments.
  • Hands-on experience with resiliency tooling, platform monitoring, and incident management systems.
  • Deep knowledge of Sovereign compliance, data residency requirements, and geo-centric architecture models.
  • Proven ability to build new functions from scratch, including defining charters and scaling across customers.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services, cloud technologies, and customer-facing resiliency roles.
