The Principal Quantum Engineer position within our Quantum program is designed for senior engineers who can independently drive complex quantum engineering projects, expanding technical depth and cross-team influence. Ideal candidates hold a PhD or equivalent experience in Physics or Engineering and have extensive industry or R&D background, with expertise in quantum computing technologies and strong physics fundamentals.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

  • Doctorate in Physics, Engineering, or related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 12 years of industry or R&D experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field plus 15+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong background in quantum engineering with expertise in designing and implementing complex systems.
  • Experience in developing measurement techniques for characterizing devices and refining designs based on data analysis.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.
