What you'll do

  • Serve as CTO-level advisor for DIB customer engagements, establishing trusted relationships with senior executives.
  • Define secure reference architectures supporting complex DIB operational environments, including supply-chain collaboration and data-rights separation.
  • Surface architectural challenges impacting regulated DIB cloud adoption to Microsoft product groups and security engineering teams.
  • Provide technical leadership in modernization deals across strategic DIB accounts, advising on regulatory workload placement and cyber-risk posture alignment.
  • Identify opportunities and gaps in feature areas across divisional boundaries, conducting market research and competitive analyses.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Extensive experience working across multiple disciplines such as technology management, consulting, policy, regulations, legal/privacy
  • Proven ability to lead executive-level architecture strategy discussions for mission-critical initiatives
  • Strong background in defining secure reference architectures for complex operational environments
  • Experience influencing engineering and product feedback loops within large organizations
  • Demonstrated success in providing technical leadership on modernization and platform migration deals
  • Ability to analyze customer signals, conduct market research, and influence feature prioritization
