What you'll do

• Lead the design and implementation of authentication and security foundations for MDO.
• Architect highly scalable, secure-by-design services meeting Microsoft’s security standards.
• Provide technical clarity in ambiguous environments with evolving threat landscapes.
• Collaborate across MDO, MSEC, and Substrate teams to design end-to-end security solutions.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in secure development practices including authentication and data protection.
• Proven track record of designing and operating scalable cloud services or distributed systems.
• Strong background in coding with languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience leading architectural decisions and driving a security-first mindset across teams.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD integration and production ownership in cloud environments.
• Knowledge and application of secure-by-design principles for highly scalable services.
• Expertise in mentoring and setting best practices for resilient security engineering.
