What you'll do

• Design and implement large-scale distributed backend systems for AI-driven insights in Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Apply generative AI to deliver personalized, intelligent experiences that help customers understand their AI transformation.
• Execute onboarding, deployments, and operational activities for government cloud environments with the same rigor as Core Services engineers.
• Build and maintain Azure infrastructure across various environments while adhering to security and compliance constraints.
• Define technical requirements and design robust APIs in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, focusing on government cloud scenarios.
• Drive engineering excellence by ensuring strong testing, observability, proactive monitoring, and deep diagnostics using Kusto (KQL).
• Mentor peers and foster an inclusive team culture that promotes continuous learning and growth.

What we're looking for

• Experience applying AI/ML techniques in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with modern version control systems like Git and agile methodologies.
• Ability to support live-site operations, including incident triage and root cause analysis.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for CJIS Security Screening and DoD IT-2 suitability.
• Demonstrated experience designing large-scale distributed systems or cloud platforms.
• Prior hands-on experience supporting GCC-High or DoD environments preferred.
