What you'll do

• Design and implement authentication and authorization flows for consumer Copilot across multiple platforms.
• Build execution context isolation mechanisms to constrain agent authority and data access.
• Contribute to consistent security controls and seamless UX across different consumer surfaces.
• Implement secure delegation and scoped consent patterns for AI-powered, agential flows.
• Integrate platform capabilities with Microsoft Account teams for large-scale deployment.
• Monitor authentication and isolation metrics to detect anomalies and drive improvements.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with authentication/authorization systems, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT.
• Experience designing and operating backend services with high availability and reliability requirements.
• Familiarity with sandboxing, process isolation, container security, or execution context separation.
• Understanding of emerging attack classes against AI systems, such as prompt injection and agent misbehavior.
• Ability to ship identity flows or SDKs across multiple client platforms including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, web.
• Knowledge of privacy-by-design principles and consumer compliance requirements like GDPR.
