What you'll do

• Perform investigations on suspected compromised assets and services to determine the extent of any breaches.
• Analyze log data and artifacts to identify potential intrusions and create detections based on indicators of compromise.
• Execute proactive adversary hunts using various log sources, tools, and threat intelligence to uncover malicious activities.
• Identify trends in security issues by analyzing key metrics and KPIs, recommending improvements for measurement gaps.
• Proactively investigate potential control issues and recommend mitigation strategies to address identified patterns.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness in security operations processes.

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical field and at least 1 year of cybersecurity experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field and at least 2 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, threat modeling, and anomaly detection.
• Proficiency in Security Operations Center (SOC) detection, threat analytics, and security incident management.
• CISSP, CISA, or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying potential issues with detection systems.
